Sarah Rudinoff is a woman of infinite talents! She is a writer, singer, actress, and producer, as well as a real estate agent, an empath, and a gardener. I have known Sarah for almost two decades, and in that time, I have worked with her in a multitude of ways. I have designed costumes for her to wear in films and on stages, dressed her for headlining performances, done her hair and makeup for some extremely important events.. I have even packed Sarah for European travel. I am so grateful that she is one of my longest friend-client relationships.
When Sarah asked me to bring a team of hair and makeup artists together and host the glam squad for the hours before her wedding, it was absolutely my honor to do so. It was a beautiful day, the joy was palpable, and her photographer, Kelly Bowie with Jenn Tai & Co., was extremely talented and super cool.
Here is Sarah’s note on her experience…
“For me, my wedding was all about my close family joining together to witness the ritual of my partner and I becoming married. With that in mind, I did not want to be separated from my nearest and dearest when I got ready for the ceremony. Knowing that I was headed to Harmony’s studio to start one of the most significant days of my life was such a comfort.
Harmony not only brings excellence, attention to detail and flair to everything she does, she has the most warm presence. Fabulousness and beauty does not have to mean exclusivity and icy vibes- it’s all love and abundance with Harmony. She gathered some of the best hair and make-up artists to get 10 of my friends and family ready in her luxe townhouse and it was such a gift!
There was also no stress because Harmony had given me great advice leading up to the day (meet the hair stylist and talk through my look and do a trial run, make sure I like all my accessories with my dress, get lashes done beforehand to make sure I like them and since I am a crier, no need to cry off fake lashes on the day).
It was the biggest gift I gave myself that day, to be truly taken care of by a world-class stylist, a warm-hearted host and a community connector who knew how to get all the right people in one place for a phenomenal day. Thank you, Harmony!”
Honestly, my heart EXPLODES reading this. These moments are SO important to get right. The tender, intimate, vulnerable moment, right before a performer goes onto stage, or walks down the aisle. The moment right before that moment? That is the moment when I get to cheer them on, build them up, and advocate for their success. I can’t get enough of it!
